A Birthday Well-Spent in Colorado

At the end of 2016, I took my first long road trip across the West Coast of America and it completely blew my expectations out of the water. I was immediately hooked on exploring and traveling parts of the US, and was inspired to set a personal goal to traveling more during 2017. This led me to my newest post: my recent travels to Colorado. I once again reached out to my traveling homie Kelly, and we threw together a very spontaneous trip in about two weeks. I wanted to spend my birthday doing what I loved doing most: photography. What better way to do that than driving through one of the most gorgeous states in the USA? It was the end of winter, and early signs of spring were starting to come out; I was enamored with some of the views we found. I can't even imagine these sights during the fall, when all the colors are in full bloom -- and I foresee a potential future trip during the autumn season.

I hope to inspire at least one person that reads this to go out and travel. Go see some of the beautiful parks our country has to offer. It blows my mind to think of how beautiful this country is, and all of the uncharted lands that few people know about.

I have to thank my great friend Kelly for tagging along, and for creating these memories with me. Until next time, my friend!

Without further ado, enjoy some photos from the beautiful state of Colorado (and a few from Monument Valley in Utah).

West Coast Journey 2016

I’ve racked my brain the past few days trying to think of something to write for this post and have had zero luck. So I’ll keep it short and let the pictures do the talking. This trip was nothing short of amazing. Getting to explore the countries National Parks and some other iconic landmarks was an experience I’ve never had the opportunity to do. And to think this trip was planned based on some casual conversation at a bar with my good friend Kelly one night while watching a UofL game. Before I knew, I had my bags packed and was headed to the airport to hop on a plane.
I still look back at these images and am truly blessed to have seen all the things we were able to see in just 10 short days. I say short since a few of the days consisted of driving across the states. (see map below of the journey) I’m still in awe of what this country has to offer in terms of natural views and beauties. I must say that I’m hooked and am already thinking about my next trip in the spring! I hope you all enjoy the pictures! (heads up! there’s quite a few pictures in this post   )
Until next time.

Fall Shoot At Bernheim Forest - Conner Richmond

I met Conner back in April and since then, we’ve grown to become really great friends. We both share a love for music unlike most other people I’ve met. We have such a wide variety of music that we both relate to and can appreciate the artistry that goes into it.

Any who, we decided to hit Bernheim Forest up earlier this week to do a little shoot, since we figured with all the trees changing and the fall colors were probably in full effect. We were bound to get some great imagery out there. We just rolled up, parked the cars and just walked around until we found some cool spots that had some really nice colors going on. I don’t think we could have asked for a better day to shoot. Weather was perfect, light was great and the scenery was on point! Had a blast man! Looking forward to our next shoot.
