I’m a photographer who grew up thinking the world pretty much stopped at the Mississippi River. Travel meant a beach trip or maybe a weekend in a bigger city. That was my bubble until 2016, when a friend invited me on a two-week road trip out west. I showed up with almost no plan and no idea what I was walking into.

Seeing the American West for the first time flipped a switch in my brain. The scale of the mountains, the light, the open spaces. I came home with a camera full of images and the feeling that I had finally found the thing that actually lit me up.

By day, I'm a commercial photographer based in Louisville. I spend a lot of time in studios and bars shooting food, cocktails, and products for brands. It’s technical and fast, which I weirdly enjoy. I like problem solving, obsessing over light, and figuring out how to make a drink or a bottle feel as good as it tastes in real life. Over the years I’ve shot everything from e-commerce product to polished campaign imagery, and that experience shaped how I see details, color, and composition.
